The Indonesia Arts and Culture Scholarship (IACS) has been running since 2003, and 848 alumni from 74 countries have completed the program. It does not grant degrees.
Scholarship recipients are hosted by an art center in Indonesia. The centers are located in Bali, West Sumatera, East Kalimantan, East Java, South Sulawesi and Yogyakarta. Awardees learn about Indonesian art and culture, while living within or around the assigned center and enjoying the opportunity to experience the local culture and interact with the community.
The scholarship is for three months, beginning on April 7 and ending on July 16, 2019.
